The Rube Goldberg Invention Convention is a "project fair" with the emphasis on science, fun, and learning!
The following is a list of tentative prizes. Many of these prizes have been donated by Mechanical Invention Workshop. As the event date approaches and sponsors are obtained, their names and contributions will be listed below. If you are interested in donating materials, or assisting Mechanical Invention Workshop with future events, please contact us by email at the link (in the blue menu).
Prizes will be awarded randomly, using a special Rube Goldberg Prize Picking Machine. While every participant or group will not receive a prize, each group displaying their project will receive a certificate of achievement for their hard work.
Prizes include....
- The Way Things Work by David Macaulay
- The Incredible Toon Machine
- Invention Studio
- Rube Goldberg's Invention Postcards, by Frank Maynard Wolfe
